Musicians In Exile® began in Summer 2018, bringing Glasgow’s asylum-seeking and refugee musicians together to make the music of our homelands. We provide space to relax, play music and regain our identities. The Glasgow Barons provide travel expenses, instruments and gig opportunities. We are led by three facilitators who make sure we are supported in our music making: Aref Ghorbani from Iran and Jose Rojas from Chile
