Classical guitarist Sasha Savaloni is the winner of two of the most prestigious guitar competitions in Europe; the Sevilla International Guitar Competition (2018) and the New Elizabethan Award (2022).

As a soloist he has given concerts across Europe and throughout the UK, performing recitals in venues such as the Wigmore Hall (London), Kings Place (London), Usher Hall (Edinburgh), Sage Gateshead, The Shoe Factory (Nicosia), City Halls (Glasgow), Holyrood Palace (Edinburgh), DIT Conservatory (Dublin), Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and the Leeds College of Music as well as performances in festivals such as the London Guitar Festival, St Magnus International Festival, Sul Tasto Paris, Festival de la Guitarra de Sevilla, Big Guitar Weekend, Festival Corde d’Autunno, Les Garrigues Memorial Emili Pujol, Bath Guitar Festival, Shrewsbury Guitar Festival, Plug New Music Festival and the Ullapool Guitar Festival.

He has performed as a soloist with orchestras such as the Royal Scottish National Orchestra and the European Union Youth Orchestra. He has also given multiple performances and interviews for BBC Radio Scotland’s Classics Unwrapped programme.

Described as a "charismatic" (The Bath Festival) and "most subtle and able artist" (Perthshire Review), Canadian guitarist Tim Beattie “dazzles … moving between textures and moods with ease.” (Musicworks Magazine)

As the first guitarist ever invited to join the prestigious Rebanks Family Fellowship at The Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, Tim is pioneering a newly creative, collaborative, and inclusive vision for the 21st-century guitar. He is a classical guitarist who doesn’t buy into the idea of “classical exceptionalism.” He believes his instrument belongs as much in folk traditions as it does in art music. His programs combine the familiar and the foreign, blurring the lines between musical idioms, genres, classifications, and performance practices.

Beattie’s performance career has taken him to stages across North America and Europe, with appearances at The Bath Festival, Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity, Cleveland International Guitar Festival, Concertgebouw Amsterdam (opening for Ludovico Einaudi), FirstOntario Concert Hall (opening for KD Lang), Koerner Hall (opening for Jean-Michel Blais), Kitaranova Festival (Finland), Lammermuir Festival (UK), Perth Summer Festival, Théâtre du Vaudeville Brussels, Yellow Barn (USA), 2021 UN Climate Conference (Glasgow), among many others. Beattie has appeared on radio and television broadcasts, including Dutch National TV and BBC Radio Scotland.
