Musicians in Exile will be performing as part Celtic Connections Danny Kyle Open Stage.

We are Glasgow's musicians with asylum seeking and refugee experience. Since 2018, over 60 musicians have taken part in this community music project run by Govan's orchestra, The Glasgow Barons. We can be a family to replace those left behind, a welcome break from the asylum process, a chance to reclaim our identities here in Scotland, sharing with each other and our communities.

We've won a National Diversity Award as Community Organisation for Race, Religion and Faith, also receiving commendations in the European and Herald Diversity Awards. We are honoured to be part of Celtic Connections' global family.
